In2Care® Mosquito Trap
Are Mosquitoes Really A Threat?
Nothing ruins a pleasant summer day faster than buzzing, biting mosquitoes. Considered one of the most dangerous pests on the planet, and are known to be vectors for the West Nile virus, Zika virus, yellow fever, dengue fever, and many more - making prevention a necessity for both comfort and safety.
Unfortunately, Aedes mosquitoes (the most common in America) lay their eggs across several small breeding sites instead of one large one to minimize the risk to their eggs, which can make the process of finding and eliminating each one a daunting task. Making matters worse, many of these mosquitoes have become resistant to traditional chemical insecticides, so that even if every breeding pool is found and treated the problem could still persist.
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap Solution
Innovative auto-dissemination ensures more complete treatment for Aedes mosquitoes than ever before possible.
Ease Of Use
The trap is easy to assemble and takes all the hassle out of mosquito treatment and control - just sit back and let the insecticide spread to the entire mosquito population.
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap uses green ingredients to target and kill mosquitoes - and only mosquitoes.
Auto-dissemination takes out the guesswork and provides a comprehensive mosquito solution no matter how many individual breeding areas are present.
In2Care® is an industry-leading developer of low-cost, sustainable pest control solutions that leverage the latest scientific breakthroughs in order to combat mosquitoes more effectively than ever before possible.
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap introduces a unique and effective new method of combating mosquitoes, exploiting their natural behavior by using the adult mosquitoes themselves to bring larvicide back to their breeding pools - with devastating results.
How Mosquito Traps Work
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap sets itself apart from the competition primarily by its method of “auto-dissemination.” Unlike traditional mosquito larvicides which need to be manually disseminated into every breeding pool in the vicinity in order to be effective, the In2Care® Mosquito Trap instead draws females mosquitoes in before contaminating them with a special slow-killing larvicide.
Because the mosquito is not killed right away, she is free to spread and contaminate other adults and larvae across breeding sites in the area, eliminating the entire mosquito population, larvae and adults, in one swift stroke. And because the larvicide does not need to be disseminated by hand, you can rest assured that no matter how small or well-hidden each individual breeding spot may be, the population as a whole will inevitably be exposed and eliminated.
With this unique method of auto-dissemination, the In2Care® Mosquito Trap can kill virtually all mosquito larvae in its surroundings before they can mature into biting adults.
In2Care® Mosquito Traps can be placed outdoors (10 Traps per acre) and be maintained every month during active mosquito season using refill sachets.
Environmentally-Friendly Mosquito Control
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap also addresses one of the biggest drawbacks of traditional mosquito treatments by limiting its effect on non-target organisms. Unlike area-wide insecticide foggers which apply insecticide evenly across the area, affecting every organism in its range, the In2Care® Mosquito Trap specifically targets mosquitoes without disturbing the surrounding ecosystem.
The In2Care® Mosquito Trap is the first Trap that uses a biological control agent to kill mosquitoes, deploying an US-EPA-approved fungus that kills the mosquito several days after infection. The Trap larvicide is US-EPA-approved and WHO-recommended for mosquito control and use in drinking water. Both bioactives have short half-lives and pose very low risks for non-target organisms - so the only thing you’ll be hurting are the mosquitoes.
