Thomas Pest Services announces awareness and fundraising efforts for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month in March

Albany, NY - As part of our ongoing participation in Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month every year, we are pleased to announce that Thomas Pest Services will once again be raising awareness for and supporting research into cerebral palsy from March 1 to March 31, 2018.

In addition to updating our logo to incorporate the cerebral palsy ribbon, our pest control technicians will be wearing green booties during their services as a means of spreading awareness. Thomas Pest Services will also contribute part of its proceeds for the month of March to fund cerebral palsy research, donating $50 out of every new program sale we make to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

Cerebral palsy has affected Thomas Pest Services in a very personal way. At the age of one-and-a-half, owners Bill Clark and Sarah Thomas-Clark's daughter, Riley was diagnosed with mild right side spastic hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. Riley is a loving, determined, smart little girl with a contagious smile, who does not let cerebral palsy overcome her. Riley is an inspiration to everyone that works with her and Bill and Sarah's hero.

Through our fundraising and awareness-building efforts in the month of March and throughout the year, it is our goal to help change the way we interact with people with cerebral palsy. We hope to help society come to a better understanding of cerebral palsy and the people it affects so that we can leave a lasting positive impact on people with cerebral palsy.
